For over a quarter of a century, we have been in the business of strengthening new roads, preserving older roads and protecting the people and the areas around those roads. County gravel roads, private gravel driveways, surface mining roads, parking lots, machine yards, orchard and vineyard roads as well as working with the United States Forest Services on forest roads.
Dust control on gravel roads and driveways also saves money. Properly applied magnesium chloride binds the dust and gravel with an ionic bond, producing a hard, smooth surface. Less dust is lost to traffic, and roads don’t have to be graded and re-graveled as often, conserving resources. Our soil stabilization keeps dirt roads lasting longer while maintaining lower dust levels to protect the environment and defending valuable products like fresh produce and grapes for wine from destructive mites. Keeping dust levels low is important to us because it’s important to our neighbors and the environment we live in. Machinery shutdowns caused by dust in critical gears and controls can cost companies millions of dollars per day. Poorly maintained gravel roads can cause accidents which could result in injury or the loss of life.
